Mercy Ranjit is a Principal Research ML Engineer at Microsoft Research India, specialising in multimodal AI for healthcare. Her work spans radiology foundation models, vision-language models, and agentic AI systems, with a focus on building clinically grounded and deployable AI for real-world healthcare workflows. Prior to joining Microsoft Research, she architected Azure AI solutions and helped engineer automated machine learning capabilities through Azure AutoML. Holding a PhD in Computer Science, she is dedicated to translating AI innovation into clinically impactful solutions.
